Q. Are reservations required?

Q. When is the latest that I should arrive to board the vessel?

We ask that everyone show up at least thirty (30) minutes prior to the scheduled cruise time. Once we get into season, December through May, we ask that everyone show up at least fourty-five (45) minutes to one (1) hour prior to the cruise time to guarantee a spot on the shuttle.

Q. How old do I have to be to board the vessel?

You must be at least 18 to gamble and 21 to drink.

Q.What is the dress code?

Casual dress is recommended.

Q. Can I bring any weapons aboard the vessels?

In accordance with DoHS Regulations and SunCruz Port Richey Casino policy, weapons of any kind including, but not limited to, pocket knives, tools or anything of the sort are not permitted aboard the vessel. Any of these items found on any person will be confiscated. Port Richey Casino, Inc. and/or SunCruz Port Richey Casino is not responsible for the storage and safekeeping of said items.

Q. Can I bring food aboard the vessels?

Food can be brought aboard the vessel only if it is medically necessary. If you plan on bringing food on board, please notify one of our dockside personnel prior to boarding.

Q. What is the boarding process?

When you arrive at our dockside location, you will write your name on the manifest. You may be required to show ID. At that time, you will receive a voucher for a complimentary menu item and, if you brought a coupon, you will also receive  a voucher for a $10.00 Table Match Play or a voucher for $15.00 in Slot Tokens for $10.00.

Once you have signed in on the manifest and received your vouchers, you will be free to wait in our waiting area. There is free coffee available and there are also soda and snack machines in our outside smoking area.

Approximately 15-20 minutes prior to the cruise time, the Dockmaster will start the boarding process. Any persons that may require assistance will be boarded first, then everyone else will be boarded after that.

Except for those needing assistance, boarding is on a first come, first serve basis.

Q. If I am going to be late, will you hold the shuttle?

Unfortunately, no. Unless there is an extremely low tide or inclement weather, we will generally always leave at our scheduled times.

Q. Do you still sail when it’s windy or raining?

We will usually continue to cruise when it is windy or raining. It generally remains pretty calm where the casino boat is located, even during windy or rainy periods. However we suggest contacting us prior to your departure to verify our sailing times.

Q. Are cruises ever canceled?

Rarely. We will only delay a cruise if there is an extremely low tide.

About the only time we will cancel a cruise is if there is inclement weather, such as a hurricane in the area, or if the Coast Guard tells us we must stay in port.

Q. What will happen when the shuttle arrives at the casino?

Once the shuttle arrives at the casino, crewmembers will secure the two vessels together and extend a short walkway from one vessel to the other.

Once that is complete, the Captain will make an announcement for any persons requiring assistance to be allowed to move from the shuttle to the casino first. After that, everyone else will be able to board the casino.
